From the Principal

Dear Atlantic City High School Students and Families,

On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you as we begin the 2014-2015 school year.

It is our mission to provide a rigorous and high quality education to our students so that they are college and career ready upon graduation.  Our school is a vibrant and diverse learning community where students are able to interact with not only each other, but also our outstanding faculty and support staff.
While academics are the main focus, participation in athletics, the arts and clubs provide an enriching and rewarding high school experience for our students.
Our Atlantic City High School athletes are among the best in the State.  We have won State and Cape Atlantic League Championships and our student-athletes have received college scholarships to continue their athletic and academic endeavors.  We hope you participate on one or more of our athletic teams and support all of our student- athletes. Go Vikings!
Atlantic City High School also has a robust arts program, including our Fine and Performing Arts Academy. The ACHS chorus and instrumental music programs perform concerts throughout the year and our artists and dancers showcase their talents at the Spring Arts Festival. Our students perform in the Viking Marching Band at athletic and community events. A highlight of the year is the Viking Players musical production, which takes place in our 750 seat theater.  We are also proud of our fully equipped television production facility and our student-run radio station, WAJM.
